PUBLICATION OF THE PROSPECTUS.
The Maritoto Venture.
The prospectus of the Maritoto Gold and Silver Mining- Company is published in the Sydhey newspapers received by the mail toj day. The capital of the Company in stated at £100,000 in 100,000 shaies of £1 each. The prospectus states : 50,000 shares are offered to the public paid up to 7s ; 2s 6d per share on application 2s 6d on allotment, further calls to be made at the rate of Is per month if necestary until 10s has been called up, making these shares paid Up to 17s. Proceeds of calls to be appropriated thus: — .50,000 shares at 10s, £25,000 ; less amount to venders, £10,000 ; to be placed at ; credit of mine, £15,000, from which a small deduction will be made for expenses of floating. The original propiietors j and vendors receive, besides the above j amount in cash, 50,000 fully paid : up shares. I The provisional directors of the Company are as follows : — Sydney : W. M'Millan> Esq., M.P., ,E. P. Simpson, Esq., W. H. Jennings, Esq., John Plumb, Esq., J.P. Auckland :,C. C. M'MMan. Esq., J.P. Melbourne: John Blyth, Esq., J.l*., Henry | Buller, Esq., J.P. The report of Messrs Cox and Scaver, mining engineers, is appended. better of its true character and the permanence of its metalliferous portion. Wo consider the Maritoto property a very valuable one, and that sufficient work has now been done on it to justify us in highly recommending it as a wife investment for capital, and worth, as the present appearances go, a good price in cash on any market.
