A Terrible Explosion.

A search party was hoon iounod, and at 11 o'clock an umbrella was seen down an old timber shaft on tho Wontworfch Estate, a mile and a half from Plnttebnrg, and («'illespie was found at the bottom. A boy named Scott went down a wii c 1 ope hanging afc the shaft, and, attcr a lot of trouble, Gilleppie avis got up and takon home. It was found that one of (Jillcspic's thighs was. broken and that he was sevcioly biuised, bolides- being in a weak state, llis sulleiings in a wounded stute must have been terrible.
