The chairman eniil there war, another matter which the member? o£ tha Town Board wished to have laid before the meeting, it order that an expression of opinion might ha obtained with respect thereto ; he referred to the providing of u water supply for the township. Mr Pavitt, engineer fojthe Board, had estimated the r.robable coet of providing such to the mam streets only at £1000, or to front and hack streets at £1500. The Board so fur h.id been unable to see their vray to raise the money. He (the chairman) had, however, recently spoken to Mr J. T3. Whyte on the subject, who expressed the opinion that, were the security satisfactory, thero would be »o difficulty iv obtaining the money.
