That weeing theie is a flaily tiuin uerwee to and fi din Auckland und Moninsville. twelve n il«8 distant from Te Aroha, and that a daily mail service could be maintained for a very small subaidy by coach, ponding the return to a daily train service, that thi'. meeting respectfully requent Government to make the necessary nnangenunls for the continuance of a daily mail service bvhveen To Aroha and Auckland und intermedium stations affected with the li^ast possible delay. It was bad enough to hare the traiu service reduced to a triweekly one, but the attempt to shut out Te Arohn from direct daily ii|>il communication with Auckland was adding insult to injury, and should not he tamely e>ubmitted to. The resolution was seconded by Mr D. J. Frazer who also briefly spoke in support thereof und the necessity of prompt action being taken to endeavour t© have the daily mail service restored.
