Trouble in Egypt.
Meanwhile the English are in trouble in Egypt. The flogging of some Arabs at Cairo on account of the alleged indignity to English officers is now being investigated by the Sultan of Turkey through a commission. It appears that flogging is abolished by law and so are trials by courtmartial, during times of peace. The whole thing was a tremendous violation of law.
