STORM AND SHIPWRECK. Two Vessels Wrecked— Loss of Life.

Sydney, February 15. The steamer Ranger has been wrecked in Trial Bay. The captain and engineer wore drowned.

Port Darwin, February 15. The four-masted ship Euphrates, bound from-Greenock to this porfc, with railway plant, struok on a rock 20 miles eastward of Pal mere ton It is believed she bas sunk in deep water. She is insured in the Adelaide to the extent of £30,000. The Euphrates kept afloat since striking the rock. She is, however, leaking badly, and has six feet of water in the hold.
