Stanley's Expedition for the Re lief of Emm Bey.
A Nk\v Youk ' Star's' London cable says : The expedition lor the relief of Kmin Boy absorbs public attention. The cable report of the bloody defeat of King Kabcroza by King Malaarga of Uganda, is probably the confirmation of reports already received of a battlo fought before the doctor's communicatiohs were cut off and his letters seized. Thoro is a strong and growing feeling here that the brutal young King of Uganda and his savage hordes should be taught a sharp lesson. Mwanga is reported at Zanzibar to bo preparing for further extensions of operations. He was believed to have 00,000 men partly armed with muzzle-loaders ready to march, and between 10,000 and 50,000 moro in resorvc. It is understood that tho MacKinnon who signed tho several dispatches to Stanley is William Mackinnon, a woalthy Glasgow merchant and Chairman of the British India Steam Navigation Company. He is said to be, willing to spend £'JO,OQQ for tho relief of Eiuin Boy.
