Heavy Rain Railway Traffic Interrupted.
Invkkcabgill, May 3. Unusually heavy rain fell incessantly all over Southland in the last 36 hours. No serious damage is at present reported except that the .Inyercargill-Kingston line was washed away in two places near Benmore. The traffic orth of Winttin is suspended.
