The Trunk Railway Land Purchase.
Wellington, May 3. " K.B Butler and John Stevens, acting for the Government purchase of Waimarino block, go up the Wanganui River next week, to secure the remainder of the signatures- 1,100 names in all — on the grant. The block has 40 miles frontage to the central line.
