PROPERTY TAX ASSESSMENT.
The Board of Reviewers for the Mnta-Mata Rjad District, Mata-M.ita Outlying District, Waitoa Road District, and Te Atohrj Riding, sat at the Coutt-House, Te Arohu, to hear objections on Saturday last. Messrs. Thus. Wells (chairman), and E. F. Roche, on the bench. The business brought before the bench was very light, occupying only about half-an-hour, a number of cases having been settled without coming into court. The following is a list of objections made : — MATA-MATA ROAD DISTRICT. George Given, Mawhao, 126a 2r, £-250 ; Huahunga, 614a 2r, £600. Valuation sustained. Auckland Agricultural case adjourned to Hamilton.
