YESTERDAY'S EXCURSION FROM AUCKLAND.

Punctually at 1.15 p.m. yesterday, the excursion tiain from Auckland arrived at To Arohrt, and consisted of ten carriages, (principally bogies") drawn by two engines. Some 550 passengers were aboard, who quickly scattered throughout the township, the domain grounds, and adjoining hills. As may be supposed, the bnths were fully occupied the whole aftei noon. Man}' who came by this excursion have remained, most of whom will return by Monday's exclusion to Auckland, whilst others purpose making a longer stay. The daj \\ as exceedingly fine. The excursion tiain staited on the return trip at G.30 p.m.
