CABLEGRAMS. SPREAD OF CHOLERA IN EGYPT CAPTAIN WEBB DROWNED AT NIAGARA. CETE WAYO KILLED. London, July 26.
The spread of cholera is proceeding in Cairo and neighborhood without check, and the mortality is said to be thousands daily. Orders have been issued for the removal of a portion of the British troops, now in Egypt, to Cyprus, unless abatement in cholera is speedily effected. Captain Webb, in attempting to swim through the whirlpool at Niagara was drowned. The report that Cetawayo was killed in the last engagement is confirmed.
