SPA CONFERENCE.
NO ADVANTAGE TO GERMANY. Received 11,35. BERLIN, July 27. Herr von Fchrenbach, in the Reichstag declared that no advantage whatever was secured at' the Spa Conference, and) jurgod Sthat every effort should be directed towards the execution of the Treaty. Germany had no means of preventing further occupation except by the accurate observance of the Treaty. Dr. Simon, s said it would be found it wmiild have been better if Germany had not signed the Treaty. Nothing now remained but to execute it. He paid a tribute to Mr Lloyd George, saying that it was due to his remarkable mental ability in presenting the coal clause in such a form that it was acceptable, fijoth {to Finance and to Germany. Mr Lloyd George had shown understanding of Germany and her difficulties, and hoped ho would soon recover from the strain on his Health.
