TELEGRAPH MESSENGER’S LAPSE
WELLINGTON, This day. Keith Upton. Poole, ex-telegraph messenger, was convicted on a charge of theft of a brooch “find failure to deliver 258 telegrams. The Magistrate sentenced him to a week’s imprisonto the Weraroa Industrial Farm.
