AUSTRALIA MARKS HER HEROl.'%’ FIGHTS. - LONDON, Oct. 9. Four obelisks marking the battlefields where the Australians were principally engaged have been completed at Polygon Wood, Belle Englise, Mericourt, and Pozieres, and a fiffh is being constructed at St. Quentin_ The obelisks are constructed in grey basalt, forty-five feet. high, inscribed to the ofiieers and men of the division operaiing on the particular »field-- on which thevmonument stands.
