HEROES OF THE GREAT ADVENTURE.
W_l‘i'ting of Adjutant Bladin, who is‘ conducting services in Taihape on Sun-‘ day, August .3rd, the Woodville Ex-1 aminer says:——“'l‘he services at the Sallvation Army Hall yesterday were conducted by Adjutant B-ladin, a"‘ir..--turned Chaplain, who spent three years with our boys at the front. Large and appreciative audiences gathered throughout. the day, the hall being packed at night. The acljutant possesses gtn excellent voice, and is un adept at leading a congregation in singing. His sidelights on the" wast" were very fine indeed, and given in an excellent manner. The subject at nigh't, “Heroes of the Great Adventure,” was a masterpiece, showing Ihe daring and heroism of our boys, also the early martyrs, stating that this was the heroism of Christ (the greatest lle*‘o of the world) reflected in 'thc ll\‘cS of those who dared to go over "r--. top at the price of their -own blood for the deliverance of humanity.”
