A meeting of the Rugby Union was -held in the Fire Brigade Hall last night there being present: Messrs. 23.

The Wanganui Rugby Union wrote, siating that the Union had accepted Taihape Union’s afiiliation.
Mr J‘ Munro, on behalf of the Peace Celebrations Congmittee, umnkea the Union and its officials % for their assistance during .peac_e celebrations.-
It was decided to hold a 7 a-side tournament at a date to be fixed la‘:.el‘, gold medals ti) be issued to the winning team donated by Mr. J effreys.
It was also decided that the nominations be one shilling for Each m:.-.9. The players in» each team are to be bona fidedmembers of their respective clubs.
_ Notices are to be sent to Palmcrs ston, Feilding, Marton, Rata, Hunterville, Taihape Ohakune, Raetihi, Horopzto, Pipiriki and Taumarunui.. Messrs_ . Wrightson, McVLcnnan, and Kelsall were appointed rep. selectoss. Mr. Kelsall was appointed ‘to act .s referee for the match to—nlorl‘ow, between the Huias and Pirates seniors.
