LOCAL SUCCESSES.
Our well-known ]ocaJ sfj'cT Eomney breeder, Mr A. E. Fannin, exhibited some, of this stock at the Feilding Show held yesterday. The 'entries in the purebred Bonmoy section were of the highest quality, and it was generally conceded that the class was of a higher standard than at any previous l show 1 . Unfortunately ffbr Mr Fannin, his sheep reached the show ground in a smoked and sooty condition, due to making the railway journcy in open trucks. In the class for 2 rams under 21 months, Mr. Fannin got a second. One Earn, over 21 months and under 33 months A. E. Fannin V.H.& and H.C.

Two Ewes under 21 months A. E. Fannin, second. One Ewe. under 21 months A. E. Fannin, V.H.C. One Ewe ovtor 21 months -and under 33 months—A. E. Fannin 3.
