Eighteen more suspicious cases of influenza have belon reported. The Government is closing all hotels and wine-bars from to-day until further notice.

There are eighty-fivle new influenza cases and five deaths, making the total of cases 1241 and the deaths 55 HOBAST, February 4 A case of influenza is reported from Zee'han.
ADELAIDE, Feb. 4.
Another ease of influenza has been reported in the city making the total 45.

Sir James Cantlie states that alcohol is the only valuable antidote for the new influenza, and many physicians are prescribing it.

The police are deailng drastically with persons ignoring the mask regulation. Many have been arrested'and fined.
The first death in New Soutij Wales is recorded at Albany. The regulation closing hotels and clubs permits the supply "of liquor ordered by post or telephone.
