GERMANY'S TROUBLES.
GERMANY BECOMING TRUCULENT HOPING FOR AN ALLIED QUARREL. Received 10.55 a.m. LONDON. February 3. Correspondents a t Berlin state Germany is becoming increasingly truculent. The Government resisted the Soviet Council's demand regarding array control/and have reinvested it in the Prussian military system of authority.
Newspapers give full descriptions of Government troops marching to Bremen, where the Spartacists have fortified the public buildings, shipyards, and railway tracks. The Spartacist newspaper is doubtful of the result, and warns its supporters to spare no effort for a formal battle The hoops are determined to force the Spartacists to disarm, but giving them plenty of time to surrender peacefully. Meanwhile the newspapers print everything possible ttTdiscreait the Allies, including stories of Anglo-Amer-ican battles and unrest in the French Army. Many quarters ar© hopeful a quarrel at the conference will destroy the prospects of a world peace. INDUSTRIAL CHAOS DRASTIC LEGISLATION FORECASTED. Received 11.25 a.m. AMSTERDAM, February 3. Germany is still discussing measures to cope with the industrial chaos. Newspapers hint at forced labour, and drastic legislation is inevitable in order to end the continually recurring strikes. Tens of thousands of persons are unemployed.

LONDON, February 8
'An eye-witness of Dr. Liebkneeht's murder states the story that Liebknecht attempted to escape is a sheer falsehood. A Guard's officer at the hotel door, who joined Liebkneeht's military escort, returned 15 minutes later and said Liebkuecht had been beaten to death with butts of rifles. Rosa Luxembourg was also beaten down at the hotel ?ntranc? by soldiers and officers, and not by an enraged crowd.
