Writing of the’ favourite for the Caulfield Cup a Victorian writer says:
Walking about quietly. King Off* appears an ordinary typo, of horse, exoejrt for klv length, «xteuded he represents the BnglisH thoroughbred. King O-ta nT a smooth galloper, and when averaging 13* to the furlong with shoes on in his track work moves as if the effort does not cost him undue exertion. No horse of recent years has impressed those who attend the Flemington tracks more favourably than does the Caulfiet® Cup favourite.
