NEW YORK, July 14,
The Department of Justice has seized the Transatlantic Trust Co's property, and has arrested the president of the company and three leading Austro-Hungarians, pending investigation of their activity, One man arrested (Guido Von Stcr) was formerly a. member of the Austrian Cabinet. The company's banking deposits amount to 7,000,000 dollars, which will be safeguarded.

General Marsh told the Senate Military Committee that there are now 1.100,000 American troops in France.
