THE EX-CZAR. PETROGRAD, May 23. The ex-Czar's transfer to Ekaterihtburg was due to the discovery of a plot whereby the local peasantry united to effect the Czar's release. May 23, The "Vpssisehe Zeitung" publishes a story by a returned German, prisoner from Russia, who says he witnessed the execution, of General Alexieff and Korniloff by Bolsheviks at Vovotutheron February 26th. UKRAINE. TROOPS MOBILISING AT KIEFF. MOSCOW, May 23. The Rada at Kieff is mobilising and concentrating the forces at its disposal who are beseiging the residence of the dictator Skoropadsky. The latter is reported seriously wounded. The conflict originated owing to Skoropadsky. mobilising the White Guards and declaring the Rada dissolved. It is reported that violent fighting occurred in the region of Tchernigoff between German troops and the supports of the Rada, who, with the assistance of Polish legionaries drove out the Germans from several places. FINLAND'S FATE. PETRORAD, May 23. General Mannehheim, has resigned, owing to dissatisfaction with German supremacy in the Finnish army. If he persists in his resignation, a number of officers will follow. Under the regime of the White Guards and Germans, 1752 persons were executed to May Ist. ANOTHER LENIN MOVE, MOSCOW, May 23.
