RAETIHI S.M. COURT.

At the Magistrate's Court on Friday a number, of sly-grog cases were heard, two of which were for keeping liquor for sale, and one for selling a bottle of whisky on December 2i. Mr J. R. Lundon. of Auckland, aljj&eared for the defendants in the two cases of keeping liquor for sale. The decisionof the Magistrate was reserved when the charge of selling was. dismissed^ A local baker was fined £ls for supplying lightweight bread. The Magistrate remarked that it was a bad ease. During the afternoon a cattle stealing ease was commenced, and was continued until nearly midnight, when theMagistrate adjourned for further hearing at Ohakune.
