German disappointment at the Poles not enlisting is increasing. The Krono Gazette states that the German Chief Command in Eastern Galicia has protested that Poles considering Poland as a sovereign State should first establish an army to collaborate in its defence. ROME, Jan 24. The Messagero states that the Archbishop Kakowski, of Warsaw, wlt-n the Pope’s approval, has refused Beseir‘s request for his support .in me formation of an army for Germany.
