CIVIL ENGINEERS AND SURVEYORS.
Over the leader in this issue Messrs Ward and Salmon, Civil Engineers and Surveyors, have an announcement that should prove of particular interest to a very large proportion of land-owners in the Taihape territory. For some time Messrs Ward and Salrpon have had an office in Messrs Arrowsmith and Loughnan’s buildings, and realising the importance of a principal of the firm being in Taihape, they have arranged that Mr. Salmon, whose headquarters are at Palmerston North, shall be here every alternate 'Wednesday, that is on every sale day. Mr. Thomas Ward is the well-known civil engineer and surveyor of Welling ton, he is so high in the ranks of his profession that no further introduc,ton, while Mr. Salmon holds honours, including those earned and won at Canterbury College. There is no better accredited firm of civil engineers andi surveyors in New Zealand. This is stated merely because it is desired that if any Taihape settlers or landowners have no intimate personal knowledge of Mr. Ward or Mr. Salmon they may place the utmost confidence in them.
