LONDON WOOL SALES. LONDON, Sept. 19. 'At the wool sales there was active competition for all good classes, Crossbreds were from 5 to 71 per cent, and half merinos 5 per cent, above the opening rates. All f unities were difficult to sell at from 5 to 10 per cent, below July rates. The following prices were realised for the fleece portions of the New Zealand clips mentioned: —Awarua (top), 25M (average 21 3-Sd); Masai, 17Id and 17 1-Sd; Gladstone, 20id and 19-ld.
