FIRE AT NAPIER.

A fire in Hastings Street this morning destroyed a shop and contents and a dwelling occupied by J. Koorey, fancy goods dealer, and Arsene Le Petit, tailor. The building was situated on a City Council reserve leased to Mr Frederickson, a tailor, and was insured in the Sun office for £SOO. Koorey’s stock, valued at £2OOO, was covered by insurance in the Sun office for £6OO, but Koorey’s furniture and Petit’s stock -were not. covered.
