CONCRETE SHIPS.

A NEW EPOCH IN SHIPBUILDING. CHRISTIANA Sept. 13. The first stone vessel has been launched. It is constructed of concrete, except for steel ribs. M. Bromstom, Minister of Marine; and a leading Swedish .shipowner, ordered the first vessel of 3000 tons. He was delighted with the result and proposes to construct concrete ships of 15,000 tons; to be used as railway ferries between Gotheborg and England. Experts consider that a now epoch in shipbuilding has been inaugurated.
