EABBITSKIN MARKET REPORT Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual fortnightly sale of rabbit skins on Monday, the 28th, ult. There was a full attendance of buyers, and full catalogues were offered. We again submitted a large and representative offering of skins, including some 100 sacks and a largo quam tity of bales. There was an excepttionally strong demand for all classes of skins, and values show an advance of Id to 2d per lb for fresh season’s skins. There was again a strong competition for winter blacks, which, reached up to 92rld per lb. We have every confidence in recommending consignments. Our next sale will bo held on Monday, 11th September. CRUTCH ING, SKIN AND HIDE SALE. DALGETY AND CO., LTD. We held our third special AAinter crutchingj sale to-day. The usual fortnightly offerings of' skins, hides and tallow, were also submitted. The attendance of buyers was practically the same as at ;our last special sale. 1 The catalogue comprised mainly crutchings and oddments, but there were feAV super lines of crutchings offered as in the earlier sales. Owing to the Avithdrawal of Japanese orders there was as we anticipated, a considerable drop in crutching values, to the extent of about 2d per Ik For skins, hides and tallow the high rates were maintained.
