TAIHAPE CEMETERY BOARD

A meeting of the Taihape Cemetery Board was held yesterday when there were present Messrs G. Wrightson. T.; Bason, G. Bray, T. J. Shute, and J. P. Aldridge.

On the motion of Mr. Bray seconded by Mr. Bason, Mr. G. Wrightson was elected chairman. Mr. Bason moved that a vote of condolence be sent to the widow of the latp chairman. Mr. W. F. Stephens, and that the meeting record its appreciation of the services rendered by him during his long turn as chairman.

All the members spoke to the mor>avir,rr tribute to the sterling dualities of their late chairman. A works committee consisting of the chairman and Mr. Bason was elected.
