THE ANZACS' LIFE UNFOLDED.

NEXT WEDNESDAY EVENING. It is because the address that is to be given by Captain-Chaplain Blamireson the life and work of Zealand boys while in Egypr<*fid at&feilipoli concerns everyone in triet so closely, and because the lecturer gives the story from actual personnl contact and experience, and moreover, that .h e has the ability and natural gifts to impress his audiences with the facts as he unfolds them, that an effort is being made to make known to everyone in this district that CaptainChaplain Blamires has been good enough to grant a request to speak in the Taihape Town Hall on Wednesday evening next, while he is .passing over muc-h larger centres ef population, so that none may afterwards regret they were not present through want of publicity. Judging from what other newspapers have published, he gives a most thrilling and truthful account of the dangers and trials of our boys during their sojourn in strange lands, and of their brilliant prowess while fighting-t-ae Turks. It is understood that there will be no set charge for admission to the lecture, but a collection wilS be taken up, probably at the door, so that all may contribute to the grand tea'- ■■>

to which the money is being devoted according to the measure of prosperity and profit-earning they enjoy. Thecare of those who suffer in the fighting is scarcely second in importance towinning the war, and, therefore, it is hoped that some donations of a magnitude quite out of the ordinary will be forthcoming. But whether one considers he is able to give or not, non<*. should miss hearing the whole truth about our New Zealand lads as it is~ told by Captain-Chaplain Blamires. Itmay be mentioned t-hat he is onftry on a sort of furlough, and that he is going back to the front to his fellbw New Zealanders, in whatever country they may be called upon to fight. Everyone ; is advised not to miss this interesting" story on Wednesday evening.
