• DALGETY AND COMPANY. Dalgety and Company report holding a clearing sale on account of W. Stevens, Esq., Mataroa, on 29th July. There was a good attendance of buyers and all lines submitted met with ready sale at late market rates Mixed *aged ewes, r.w. Romney rams, 30/1; mixed hoggets, 19/4; mixed tooth wethers, 25/3; mixed aged ewes in lamb (low condition), ls/1; dairy cows £6 17/6 to £7; dairy heifers, £5 17/6 to £6 3/6; Shorthorn bull, £5 12/6; •express horse, £l6 5/. Dalgety and Company report holding a sale on account of Tawawe Pine, at the Tiahape saleyards on July 30th, 1915. There was. a good attendance of buyers, and competition -was good for all lines submitted.

Dalgety and Company, Limited have received the following cable from thear London office, dated 26th inst:
For the 6th series the wool sales ara •opening on 7th September, List of arrivals closed on 24th July. The gross arrivals amounted to 249,000 bales. 128,500 bales were forwarded direct "to manufacturers; 72,000 bales of old stocks wer e carried forward; leaving 192,500 bales as the net quantity available.
