TOO POOR A QUALITY. RETURNED FROM EGYPT. MELBOURNE This Day. It is stated that large quantities of soldiers' boots have been returned from Egypt owing to the poor quality of their sole. The Victorian High Court has declared the Federal Land Tax valid. The main point involved was whether the Fedreal Government had power to levy such taxation on State property.
