According to the American Committee, which has' been organised to secure relief for destitute Servians, 800.,000 Servians will starve unless they obtain grain for spring seeding. Fifty per cent, of their children are dying from exposure and lack of nourishment and medicine. Farms are devastated and buildings and implements destroyed. Their stock has been killed, and all able-bodied men are at the front. The women and children have to plant and cultivate the crops in the spring.
