UNDEFENDED DIVORCES

CASES HEARD AT HAMILTON From Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Thursday. Undefended divorce cases were dealt with by Mr. Justice Smith in the Supreme Court today. Mary Homersham (Mr. McFarland) was granted a decree nisi against Arthur Pemberton Homersham on the ground of adultery. Failure on the part of her husband to return to her under the terms ot an order for restitution of conjugal rights was the ground advanced by .Louisa Josephine Attwood (Mr. King), who sought a dissolution of her mar - riago with Redvers Kendrick Ronaldo Attwood. A decree nisi to be moved absolute after three months, was granted, petitioner to have the interim custody of the child. A decree nisi was also granted in the case in which Elsie Martha Emma Stanhope (Mr. Speight) petitioned for a divorce from Henry Smith Stanhope on the ground of desertion. Mutual separation decided upon in the year following their marriage in 1926 was the ground on which William Tfitchins Marshall (Mr. Clavis) petitioned for a divorce. from Polly Marshall. A decree nisi was granted. An order for restitution of conjugal rights was made in favour of Edward James Pascoe (Mr. Tompkins), who petitioned against his wife. Cora Pascoe. Petitioner stated in evidence that his wife left him in 1929 to start in a business at Rotorua. He had not seen her since June this year.
