CHRISTCHURCH FIRE-BUG CASE ACCEPTANCE PERMITTED THE SiAY'S Parliamentary Reporter PARLIAMENT BLDGS., Thurs. The Minister of Justice, the Hon. J. G. Cobbe announced this evening that it had been decided to allow the police to accept the reward o£ £250 offered by the insurance companies for the discovery of the Christchurch fire-bugs. ‘'The hulk ot' the reward said the Minister, “will go to Constable A. T. Gillum.” The reward will be divided among Mr. Gillum and the detectives in Christchurch, who were concerned in ihe arrest and confession respectively of the Grey brothers.
