SNOW IN CANTERBURY
HEAVY WEEK-END FALL Press Association ASHBURTON, Today. Snow fell in the higher lands of the Ashburton County on Saturday afternoon and evening and continued more or less yesterday. During last night the snow-covered area reached right to the coast, where half an inch fell. A serious loss of early lambs will follow as the weather shows no signs of clearing.
