DOSES OF WINTER
MIXED WEATHER IN NORTH CANTERBURY HEAVY LOSS AMONG LAMBS Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. During the week-end and today North Canterbury experienced every possibles variety of winter weather in bitter doses. In one hour today there was rain, then a spasmodic burst of bleak sunshine, followed by snow, sleet, and more min, accompanied by a cold sou’-wester. Similar conditions have been obtaining during the past 48 hours, and the storm continues, resulting in heavy loss among lambs.
