MIXED WEATHER IN NORTH CANTERBURY HEAVY LOSS AMONG LAMBS Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. During the week-end and today North Canterbury experienced every possibles variety of winter weather in bitter doses. Similar conditions have been obtaining during the past 48 hours, and the storm continues, resulting in heavy loss among lambs.
