LOST AND FOUND
TALLY OF MISSING MOTORCARS RECOVERY OF THREE Three motor-cars were reported to the police as missing during the weekend. Two were recovered, but there is as yet no sign of the third, a Chevrolet tourer, which disappeared from Ferguson Street, city, between 9.30 a.rn. and 1.30 p.m. on Saturday. The missing car is painted blue and belongs to Mr. Thomas Meehan, 79 Ponsonby Road. It is a 1923 model and the registered number is 1897. In the back seat, when the owner last saw his car, was a bag of motor tools and a fawn overcoat. Nothing has yet been heard of the Essex saloon motor-car, missed by the owner, Mr. Balfour M. Irvine, from outside Paykel’s Building, Anzac Avenue, on August 16. The car is painted blue and the registered number is 996.
The sedan car reported missing from Waitara on August 31 has been recovered.
