ORGANIST CHARGED

PLEADS NOT GUILTY TO THEFT REMAND TILL FRIDAY On two charges of theft, Gunnar Paulsen, organist, was remanded at the Police Court today by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., to appear on Friday, September 12. Paulsen, aged 28, through Mr. finger, pleaded not guilty to stealing an electric motor-horn, valued at 30s, the property of a city theatre, on September 2. A similar plea was entered to a further charge of stealing a quantity of crockery and cutlery, three silver salad bowls and a door lock, of a total value of £5, on June 1 from the same theatre.

Accused waa remanded until September 12, bail being allowed in self £25.

Chief-Detective Hammond said that another charge was pending.
