POSTS FOR N.Z. STAFF OFFICERS NO DETAILS YET Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. On being communicated with by a reporter, Defence Headquarters made the following announcement: “The Colonial Office and War Office have very generously offered to absorb some of the officers of the Permanent Forces of New Zealand who may be surplus to requirements.” No details are yet available as to the actual stations, rates of pay or numbers of appointments available, and it is reported that there is no lack of offers to accept appointments abroad.
