The race for the Ebor Handicap, one and three-quarter miles, one of the great races of the vear for Yorkshiremen, was run at York. It resulted in a dead-heat between Mr. J. P. Arkwright’s Gentlemen’s Relish (He — Bonne Bouche), and Sir Hugh Hoist’s Coaster (Planet—Dust).
Sir Major WernheTs Brown Jack 4 Jackdaw—Querquidella) was third, half a length away.
