Fourth Field Battery Holds Gay Function

Dancers Throng Cabaret For Annual Ball COLOURFUL SCENE AT PETER PAN The annual ball held by the officers, non-commissioned officers and men of the Fourth Field Battery, N.Z-A., in the Peter Pan Cabaret last evening, must surely have been one of the most successful functions ever held by this popular battery. Dancers thronged the cabaret, and the smart uniforms of the officers and lovely 1 rocks worn by the women presented a very colourful scene. Mr. Briggs and his merry band played a. splendid selection of dance tunes, and the evening was particularly bright. Demonstrations of modorn ballroom dancing were given by Miss Margaret O’Connor and Mr. Priestley. AMONG TIIE DANCERS.
