THIEF AT DENTIST’S

CASH-BOX STOLEN FROM TILL

Working at (he head of a flight of stairs, and being consequently out of sight of the street, a thief effected an entry to Dr. F. J. Rayner’s surgery. Upper Queen Street, on Thursday. A glass panel near the lock of the door was smashed and a cash-box, containing £1 18s 6d, was taken from the till, where it had been left locked Several pounds’ worth of stamps, which were also in the till, were not taken. No attempt was made to force the locked door of Dr. Rayner’s pri vate office, where the safe is kept.
