The fourth round of the match play for the captain’s trophy was played. Following were the results: Miss K. The semi-finals must be finished by August 27. LADIES’ CLUB A flag match was played at the Middlemore links yesterday by members of the Auckland Ladies’ Golf Club for a prize presented by the Misses Souter. The winner was Miss C. Rainger, who placed the flag about 18 inches from the eighteenth hole. The play-off in the tie in the C grade eclectic match was won by Miss E. F. Upton, who defeated Mrs. R. J. King. AKARANA LADIES’ CLUB Following is the team to represent the Akarana Ladies’ Golf Club in an interclub match against the Pupuke Ladies’ Club tomorrow:—Miss C. M. Darrach.
