SOCCER SUSPENSION
TRAMWAYS CLUB AND A.F.A. “PUNISHMENT EXCESSIVE” Stating that it considered the suspension of one month, placed on a player of the-club for being ordered off the held, was excessive, a deputation from the Tramways Club waited on the Control Board of the Auckland Bootball Association last evening. Mr. S. Brew, of the Tramways Club, outlined cases of a similar nature In the past which had no't received the severe punishment imposed on the Tramways player. The chairman replied that the case had been dealt with fully by the judicial committee and if the Tramways Club did not agree with the finding then the only solution was for an appeal to be lodged which would be forwarded by the association to the New Zealand Council.
