BIRTHDAY PARTY
HAPPY EVENING AT ORIENTAL RENDEZVOUS On Saturday evening a very jolly birthday party was held in honour of Mrs. Scotting at the Oriental Rendezvous, Mangere. Items were given by Mr. C. Follick and Miss Lorna Andrew. The guest of honour was gowned in an ankle-length frock of black and pink georgette and lace. Among those present were: Mrs. Menary, who wore black georgette; Airs. Shorer, shot taffeta and georgette; Mrs. C. Downie, red georgette; Mrs. O. Young, beige lace and georgette; Mrs. Francis, black georgette and lace; Mrs. Alexander Follick, black satin and diamente; Mrs. S. Beattie, black beaded georgette; Mrs. Craddock, rod crepe tie chine; Airs. W. Thomas, saxe blue charmeuse; Aliss A. Collings, black satin and diamente; Miss X. Prior, red georgette; Aliss Lorna Andrew, primrose georgette; Miss Edna Thomas, blue tinsel and spotted tulle; Miss Ksme Cato, floral ninon; Aliss Gwen Hill, powder-blue beaded georgette; Aliss Zoe Hill, frock of apricot taffeta; Miss Grant, electric blue lace; Aliss Strahan, black and gold embroidered lace; Aliss Jenkin, pale pink lace; Miss Webster, blue georgette; Aliss Alildred Francis, white lace over green satin.
