OTOROHANGA WEDDING

ATTENDANT MAIDS WEAR SPRINGTIME HUES LEIGH—McCREADY Tho marriage took place on Wednesday, at the Presbyterian Church, Otorohnnga, of Norah, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McCready, of Otorohango. and Mr. Leonard Leavers Leigh, of Whangarei. The ceremony was performed by tho Ilev. Mr. Lutterworth. Given away by lier brother, Mr. Thomas McCready, tho bride wore a charming gown of white crepe de chine fashioned on long lines, with an uneven hemline. lier veil was arranged on the head with a beaded coronet and fell in graceful folds to form a long train and she carried a shower bouquet. The bride was attended by two maids, Miss Rhoda Glover and Miss Betty Thomson, wearing frocks of lemon and green crepe de chine respectively, made alike with close-fitting bodices and long, full handkerchief skirts. They wore crinoline hats to match their frocks and carried bouquets to tone. Mr. S. Smith carried out the duties of best man and Mr. G. Meyready was groomsman. A reception was afterward held in the annexe of the Town Hall, where Mrs. McCready received the guests wearing a frock of black georgette with a smart beige hat. To travel in, the bride wore a light grey costume with a hat to match.
