SATIN AND SILVER LACE

SOFT RAINBOW SHADES FAVOURED BY ATTENDANTS KEMP—NEEVE The wedding was celebrated last week at the Onehunga Catholic Church, of Gertrude, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Neeve, of Willow Street, Onehunga, to Leo Augustus, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Kemp, of Felix Street, Te Papapa. The ceremony was performed by Monsignor Cahill. Given away by her father, the bride wore a bridal gown of white satin with an ankle-length overdress of tulle and silver lace. Her veil, which was arranged on the head with orange blossoms, fell to form a long train, and she carried a shower bouquet of white flowers. Miss Gertrude Pnrfitt and Miss Grace Stowell attended the bride wearing ankle-length frocks of pale pink and saxe blue crepe de chine, respectively, with felt hats and bouquets to tone. The flower girl. Miss Gay Wilson, was in a dainty frock of pale lemon georgette, and Master Desmond Raffle, who acted as page boy, wore a suit of cream satin. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. \V. Ireland and Mr. Roy Hist was groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of Mrs. Raffle, sister of the bride. Mrs. Neeve was frocked in navy blue with a hat to match, and Mrs. Kemp was in black charmeuse satin with a hat to tone. The bride travelled in a smart bluetoned tweed costume, with a hat in the same shade.
